From the moment I applied to this medschool in Poland, the goal was always to come back to the US to complete my residency. Well yesterday I had coffee w/ a canadian girl in my school and the more I talked to her, the more I was turned off by the idea of going back to the states. Currently her bf is going to start his residency in Ireland and she may do the same. The opportunities here in Europe are just sounding better and better. She even mentioned a PhD program in Spain we could do that would pay us 60k a year! It sounds too good to be true! Of course I will still take the USMLEs to try to keep my options open, but I don’t think US is number one anymore.

Oh the decisions I have to make..
